On 28th April 2022, we are selected as one of the finalists in the National Solution Forum 2022 at the Ballroom of Sunway Resort Hotel. The solution featured in this forum is the Flood Forecasting Solution by using Ever AI. This solution started when we saw the previous flood tragedy resulted in the largest loss we have ever seen, particularly in the Klang Valley.

As a result, we are certain that we must find a way to mitigate the flood's intensity. This Flood Forecasting Solution is unique in that it provides real-time and accurate flood predictions, forecasts flood chances, and predicts flood severity. To accomplish this, we will integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning approaches with a hydrodynamic modelling method. Ever AI platform can help in this solution as we can combine the high-quality and labeled data that we will gain from the Meteorological Department of Malaysia which are the weather and topography data. Ever AI then will be able to train an accurate AI model to predict the flood and mitigate the damage.

Despite the fact that we did not win, we learned a lot and will continue to strive to be a better solution provider. We were particularly pleased when the Chair of SDSN addressed our idea during his speech.
