How does AI Improve the Quality of Life?
Updated: Jan 27, 2022

Is AI really needed in our society?
Artificial Intelligence (AI), has become one of the hottest fields in modern technology. AI is no longer seen only in Sci-Fi shows or movies, but it has become reality. Whether or not AI is a necessity depends on humans itself. If humans desire a fast-paced, effective way to solve their problems, then yes, AI is a necessity. On the other hand, if humans want a more natural approach to solve problems and complete tasks, then AI is not needed.
However, history clearly shows us that mankind are in a constant search for ways to simplify life.
Thus, it can safely be said that AI is a necessity for us humans who are heavily inclined towards a technologically developed world and a simplified lifestyle.
AI in Industries and How It Improves Quality of Life
Education
AI is poised to make tremendous changes, and in some cases already is, in the education sector. While we may not see humanoid robots teaching in the next decade, there are many projects already in the works that use computer intelligence to help students and teachers get more out of the educational experience.

AI is capable of automating basic activities in education, like grading. Grading homework and tests for large lecture courses in college can be time-consuming and tedious. As of now, automated gradings can be subjected to multiple choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, or anything that is subjected to a definite answer that does not require reasoning.

Ever PdPr is Ever AI Technologies' very own mobile platform that enables a reliable and affordable online teaching platform. This comes in handy for teachers, students, and parents/guardians especially during the pandemic where classes have to be conducted online. Ever PdPr applies AI to its recommendation engine to recommend the most suitable materials for students which enables learning and teaching to take place more effectively.
Major changes through AI in the education field may take a longer time to become prominent, however the reality is that AI has great potential to radically change just about everything that may seem impossible at the moment. Educational programs powered by AI are already significantly helping not only students, but teachers and parents/guardians.
Manufacturing

The manufacturing sector is undoubtedly leading the way in the application of AI technology. Manufacturers are using AI-powered analytics to improve efficiency, product quality, and employee safety. In the manufacturing industry, ongoing maintenance of production line machinery and equipment is a significant expense that has a significant impact on the bottom line of any asset-reliant production operation.

As a result, predictive maintenance has become a must-have solution for manufacturers who stand to benefit greatly from the ability to predict the next failure of a part, machine, or system. Predictive maintenance employs advanced AI algorithms such as Machine Learning (ML) and artificial neural networks to make predictions about asset failure. This enables significant reductions in costly unplanned downtime, as well as extending the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of production machines and equipment.
Recently, Ever AI Technologies completed a project for our client, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), which is the Cable Fault Identification Software Problem. This project is part of our Ever AI product, which is an end-to-end, no code Data Science platform. Through this, cable fault detection is made easy, which in the long run, saves a lot of time and cost because one can easily train and deploy ML models in just a few simple clicks.
The manufacturing industry is ideally suited for the application of AI. Despite the fact that the Industry 4.0 revolution is still in its early stages, AI is already providing significant benefits. AI is destined to change the way we manufacture products and process materials forever.
Public Safety
AI technologies have the potential to improve safety across the board. Its ability to reduce, prevent, and respond to crimes. The field of public safety is constantly pushing new technologies that can automate laborious and time-consuming tasks. One of the most common identifiers police officers count on is a license plate number. Whether in search of a suspect, attempt to recover a stolen vehicle, or enforcing traffic laws, license plates are key in accurately pinpointing a person of int
